Derek exhibits very innovative style in his work. He is inspired to create personal, custom instruments, keeping an open conversation in order to incorporate each individual customer's ideas for their instrument. Derek offers fully and linear chromatic hammered dulcimers, as well as the standard hammered dulcimer tuning. Here is a breakdown of different models and details that he offers.

The notes (letters and numbers) in this diagram can be used as a frame of reference for the range of each model listed below. For example, a guitar has a range from E2 - E6. The lowest note on a violin is G3.
